| Description: | Air drying agent ---TMPDE TMPDE(Trimethyl propane diallyl ether) TMPDE is consist by three kind of allyl ether, that is Trimethyl propane mono-allyl ether(CH3CH2C(CH2OH)2CH2OCH2CH=CH2), content: 6-14% Trimethyl propane di-allyl ether(CH3CH2CCH2OH(CH2OCH2CH=CH2) 2 ), content: 82-86% Trimethyl propane tri-allyl ether(CH3CH2C (CH2OCH2CH=CH2) 3 ), content: 3-10% Just as this component, TMPDE to be an excellent air drying agent, and widely used in unsaturated polyesters, Polyurethane resins water soluble resin,alkyd resin, polyurethane resin, epoxy resin. Chemical property : TMPDE is stable in normal temperature and dampness. It have the functional group of ether and alcohols. The functional group of ether supply the air drying property, and the functional group of alcolhols take part in the react of esterification, so TMPDE has big usage in the synthesize of resins. With the progress of social development, we inquiry the resin with the property with high rigidity, more clear color, and the resistant to corrosion, tolerable to environment, and drying soon in the air, right now TMPDE could supply this effect and welcome especially to professional researcher. Principle Traditional unsaturated polyester is synthesized by di-acid, unsaturated di-acid, polyhydric alcohol and styrene, the curing process is anaerobic, so we commonly add paraffin or other way to cut off air and limit the paint on the extensive application of domestic and international studies. Now the air dry type unsaturated polyester has been widely used in paint. We add the function group of allyl ether （CH2=CHCH2-O-,we use this function to absorb the oxygen in the air, it react like drying oil film-forming process, that is get priority to capture the surface of oxygen, so as to restrain the resistance effect of the oxygen to free radicals of unsaturated resin, finally realize air drying. With the protection of Nitrogen, input the material of step one. 2. Increase the temperature to 155 ℃ and maintain this temperature for an hour. 3. Increase the temperature to 200 ℃ by the speed of 0.2℃/Minute. 4. Keep esterification untill the acid value reach 70-80mg KOH/g 5. Coolling the temperature under 160 ℃, add the material of step two. 6. Increase the temperature to about 185℃, and make the acid value ok. 7. Use vacuum distillation, the polyester reach viscosity, then cooling and adulterate with solvent and finished. | |
